Anonymous Skunk
Skunk ✦ Berkeley
Born: Sometime before October 2024  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: October 2024
Not much is known about Anonymous Skunk, but we do know that she worked diligently to support the ecosystem of our garden, eating bugs and other small nefarious critters. The details of her death are unknown, but we rest assured that she died in a beautiful space near people who cared about her. She was buried behind the compost pile and she lives on in the rejuvenation of our garden beds in the spring.

Wolfie
Wolfie
Cat ✦ Oakland
Born: April 2024  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: December 2025
Wolfie was a very well-adjusted kitten who grew into a large, soft, loud cat. He was obsessed with food, and in his short life stole potato chips, bagels, fancy seaweed, and bread off the counter to eat in secret under the table.

He was adored by his people, who he slept with every night, and by his brother, an orange tabby who worshipped him. He died in their arms after a short illness, surrounded by love.

Miss Vanjie
Miss Vanjie
Cat ✦ San Francisco
Born: A lady never tells  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: April 1, 2026
Miss Vanjie arrived as a stray who conned her way into the house using only one extremely pathetic meow and then immediately took over the couch. She lived 12 years on her own terms: on top of things she wasn't supposed to be on top of.

She hated: Mondays, the new cat (Big Sur), strangers, the vacuum, and wigs that looked at her the wrong way.

Miso
Miso
Holland Lop Rabbit ✦ Oakland
Born: June 6, 2000  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: September 10, 2025
Miso was a rabbit of great passion and limited attention span. He enjoyed: binkying at 3am for no reason, rearranging his hay into configurations that made no sense, eating literally everything, and thumping to warn us of threats (threats included: plastic bags, the wind, and nothing).

Our vet said he was "the bounciest rabbit I've ever seen." Inshallah he will flop onto perfectly soft grass for all eternity.

Swimbert
Swimbert
Goldfish ✦ Stockton
Born: Won at the California State Fair, 2001  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: 2008
The man at the fair said Swimbert would last "maybe a week." Swimbert lasted SEVEN YEARS and outlived two other fish, one hamster, and a brief period where we forgot he existed. We are sorry about that last part, bro.

He is survived by his bowl, his little plastic castle, and the mystery of what he dreamed about.

Luna
Luna
Poodle ✦ San Francisco
Born: July 4, 2015  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: December 1, 2025
Our little firework arrived with a bang and a crash into our lives, though she never liked the Fourth of July. She LOVED the sun and being outside, she hated water. Water was a big no-no for her. She was a simple girl and loved simple things.

Thank you for letting me call you my dog. You will always be my baby.
✦ In Loving Memory ✦
Bambi
Bambi
Chihuahua ✦ Berkeley
Born: March 14, 2000  🌈  Crossed the Bridge: November 2, 2019
Bambi hated everyone except his family, who loved him dearly. His favorite things were: frowning, sleeping, and yelling at every person who came within 3 feet of him.

Bambi passed away in his sleep in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He is survived by his bee costume and lots and lots of sweaters.
